Example 5: A Line Through Two Points

Find a vector equation of the line through the points A(3, -4, 2), B(0, 8, 1). The line has the equation

X = 3i - 4j + 2k + t((0 - 3)i + (8 - (-4))j + (1 - 2)k),

X = 3i - 4j + 2k + t(-3i + 12j - k).
