The design of exams is supported by the Teach/Me exam designer. A fully outfitted designer for examinations provides all the necessary tools for designing examinations. A collection of standard forms of questions is available (expected reply from the student: text input, numeric values, multiple choice). The exam designer supports the random selection of questions from a predefined pool. In this way, students can be prevented from cheating by copying from their neighbors, since each student gets a unique set of questions from several possible choices.
The teacher may design an exam by selecting its components from a component
palette (drag-and-drop). The teacher can decide on the design of the exams
from a wide variety of possible layouts. The teacher may also specify an
optional e-mail address which is used to collect the student's answers
when he or she has finished the exam.
