y = x4/2 - x2, -2 ≤ x ≤ 2.

Step 1

dy/dx = 2x3 - 2x. d2y/dx2 = 6x2 - 2.

Step 2

dy/dx = 0 at x = -1,0,1.

Step 3 d2y/dx2 = 0 at x ± √⅓. -2, -1, -√⅓, 0, √⅓, 1, 2.
