Oblique image of the 185 km diameter Tsiolkovsky crater, centered at 21.2 S, 128.9 E on the far side of the Moon. Note the complex central peak and the smooth lava-flooded floor. Outside the crater at the bottom of the image is a substantial ejecta blanket. The image was taken by the Apollo 15 metric camera from a distance of 282 km. North is at 3:00. (Apollo 15, AS15-0757)
