A Recipe à la Rome: Spiced Wine

Ingredients: 1l grape juice

Mulled wine spice

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Black pepper

Water

3 teaspoons of honey

Preparation:

Pour the grape juice into a 2-litre jug. Add a litre of water - less, if you prefer strong wine. Add honey and dissolve it by stirring. Add a pinch of mulled wine spice, nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper. Adjust the drink to your taste. Add more honey if it is not sweet enough, more spices if it is not spicy enough.
