Originally, we wanted to dissect a frog. As nobody was willing to give us a frog for dissecting, we had to go for a fish and Perseus had to lose his life. Do you want to know why we chose the name Perseus for this fish? We pondered the issue and thereby came to speak of Perseus, a hero of Greek mythology. Since the fish was kind of a hero for us, we named him Perseus. We hope that you will find our pictures and all the more or less intelligent commentaries super totally extra good, so that we can manage to come a little closer to our task of improving the world. Well, maybe it would be wise to add that you shouldn’t take us too seriously. And we should mention that we were neither drunk nor high during the work.
Best wishes,
The renowned scientists,
Anna-Maria Scheitbauer, Pia-Maria Lichtenberger, Vanessa Scherzer und Franz Vosicky
