Constant Value Function
EXAMPLE 6 The constant function with value 5 is described by the rule f(x) = 5. Thus f(0) = 5, f(-3) = 5, f(l 000 000) = 5. The graph (Figure 1.2.8) of the constant function with value 5 is given by the equation y = 5.
